So Most Wanted

Leighton notices another list (well, sort of) of superlatives on which Ann Arbor will be making an appearance: America’s Most Wanted. Without Bert Sperling’s help, even.

Also, we heard that the meetup last night was a success. And that Larry Kestenbaum is running an awesome campaign for Washtenaw county clerk and you should all register to vote in town and consider giving him your vote.

  1. did you now go, AAIO?

I, unfortunately, wasn’t able to make it due to sheer exhaustion. This semester is going to kick my ass.

  2. Where’s the BP station in AA? I don’t remember one…

  3. There are three BP stations in A2 I can think of - Plymouth Rd and US23, Plymouth Rd and Upland (aka Murfin), and the one where the murder took place at Platt and Packard. Most of them used to be Amoco stations until BP bought Amoco.

  4. Not that it matters, but there’s also one near where I live, on Main and William. But since it’s downtown, its prices are always higher than a normal gas station’s.

  5. Yeah, the BP’s in Ann Arbor are all former Amoco (formerly Standard Oil of Indiana) stations. There are still a few Amocos here and there, but most have been BPified and my understanding is that they all will be eventually.

  6. did you now go, AAIO?

yes - I can’t help it if I wasn’t exciting enough to make anyone’s account of the evening.

We had another Alex there. Conservation of Alexes and all.

Well, George mentioned you when I was talking to him about it. I would up not going because I was completely whacked from a biz trip to Grand Rapids that day.

  8. Okay, I feel much better now.

  9. Rason Horton was arrested this morning in New Mexico. I got this news from our Neighborhood Watch captain, but I can’t find a news source to back it up.

  10. I definitely relate, Alex. Been that kind of semester already.
