Bloggers Posting Daily Letters Aren’t Clever and Show Desperation
The Daily’s letters page provides consistent laughs with its deadpan, literalistic headlines, but today’s has one of the best in a while: “Girls wearing big sunglasses aren’t hot and show weakness.”
deadpan or not, who cares that women wear big sun glasses or no sunglasses. dude’s comments are a waste of space. why not address the nasty habit of public spitting or “scratching”. now that’s just plain offensive.

posted by Brandon on October 3rd, 2006 at 2:44 pmOh man. I looooooove headlines containing negative propositions. It could’ve said “Girls wearing big sunglasses aren’t attentive and make hapless pedestrians” (it’s possible that this could apply to a real story), and I’d still have been into it.

Somehow, I was under the impression that eyewear had more utility to society than said triumbvirate. Maybe James would like to go dear hunting with me, and without my glasses.

In any event, this “trend,” for those of you who actually care, is SOOO last year.
