Transition
The staff at the county clerk’s office have been told by the newly elected Larry Kestenbaum’s defeated opponent not to talk to him until the day he takes office, he writes. We hope the “L” keys aren’t missing from any keyboards when he finally assumes his new job.
People get frustrated with the system and wonder why it doesn’t work. Instead of helping people, some politicians seem more bent on vindiction and pettiness. Until politicians learn they serve the people that elect them, the situation wont get better.

Watergate, watch out. We have Watertower.

I mean, what is her deal? Is she just pissy that national Republican success hasn’t “trickled down” as far as the Washtenaw County Clerk’s office?
Mr. K, I’d keep a close watch on the seats and drawers in that office for the first few days, if I were you.
