And We Used to Think CmdrTaco Was Cool
Slashdot asks their readers if they’re planning to move to Canada after the election, and the option “Already live in Ann Arbor, which is close enough” is polling at 3 percent. We’re not sure if they mean politically or geographically, but /. founder Rob Malda lives “somewhere between Dexter and Ann Arbor”, which he describes as “an absolutely wonderful place to live.”

There were a lot of states where Kerry won the urban areas but lost in a majority of counties like Pennsylvania, California, Oregon, Michigan, and Washington.

Is it maybe possible that the folks in Blue are out of step and need to be educated?
posted by Thomas Cook on November 4th, 2004 at 10:06 amNo, no, Thomas. You’re going off script. Your line is “Liberals have too much education and think they know what’s best for the rest of us.”
He’s got a point on counties, though. Before we go off trying to convert Nebraska, we can work on Macomb, Oakland, Livingston, Jackson, Lenawee, and Monroe Counties–all of which went Red.

Next time I’m hanging around with a group of Republicans (it does happen) I’m going to walk over to a corner of the room by myself and declare that the vast majority of the floor tiles in the room are populated by liberals.
