Yard Litter
A letter in the Freep attempts to explain why there are so few Bush-Cheney signs in A2, if you can get past the writer’s description of Ann Arbor as a “workers’ paradise” without choking. It’s because of the Republicans’ superior taste! “Most of us right-wingers consider such yard litter in the same category as pink flamingo sticks and rusting auto hulks.”
I beg to differ. My neighbors have a Bush/Cheney sign in their yard the size of a bedsheet. Talk about tacky! It totally dwarfs my awesome lawn flamingo.

It’s been up there for a couple months now and, saggy and faded, is a lovely addition to the neighborhood and no doubt very persuasive to undecided voters.

Until they both were stolen tonight along with most of the Halloween candy I had in a witch’s cauldron while we fed our kids dinner. (before this someone put Kerry bumper sticker all over them). I really expected nothing less. Now I want to put a big sheet up. Wonder why some signs keep getting bigger? I want a bigger sign now too.
