Micigan is well covered by the NPR signal from WUOM, WVGR and the affiliate from Flint.
I’ve been travelling up and down I-75 to and from Florida for a while and Dian Rehm isn’t carried on as many NPR stations along that corridor as we have here in Michigan.
I suppose the number of callers from Michigan could indicate the broad interests of Michigan listeners and the quality of Ms Rehm’s interviews.
In relation to _earth’s comment: I am actually getting myself all zoologically excited about the 17 year cicada emergence. Does this make me a bad person?
I listen to NPR all day at work and there’s an AA caller on the Diane Rehm show or Talk of the Nation about a third of the time.
