This seems to be part of a pattern: the AA Spews underreports AA crime (especially near campus). Between your slasher-victim link and Goodspeed’s blotter, it’s obvious the New misses some news.
It’s almost like they are delusional cheerleaders: ignoring the actual score to make the crowd feel better, hoping the fans are socializing / not watching the playing field for themselves.
